The Tumbleweed Worm Farms consists of two sturdy polypropylene boxes, stacking nicely inside each other. The upper box with perforated floor & a lid. Put your worms in the top portion of the bin along with kitchen scraps/organic waste. As the worms digested the ingredients, the waste in the form of liquid compost tea filters through the perforated holes into the bottom bin. When combined with water, the results is an organic fertilizer, rich in nutrients, & ready to use in your flower beds or container plants. The lower box for the worm farm is fitted with a drain sprout to make it easy to harvest your Compost Tea. As the worms actually eat the bacteria in the decomposed food there is no odor to worry about, simply add your scraps & see the results!
